Our Family
We actually are from Biarritz.
As well as several generations of ancestors before us.
We are three siblings who grew up at La Conciergerie, along with our mother.
Belonging to the Basque diaspora, we have lived and continue to live all over the world. But Biarritz remains undeniably our home. And we want to share ours with you here.
We look forward to connecting with you and learning about your experiences.
The property has been in the family since 1980. See below for its fascinating history.
Our prides, to be discovered in the dedicated sections:
-> the house itself, of course,
-> the fronton 'Mur à Gauche' (a smaller version of Jaï Alaï),
-> no swimming pool. The safety of young children is therefore a key point. Also, because we prefer the hit the waves!
The neighborhood
La Négresse is a quiet residential neighborhood in Biarritz. It offers many local shops, and the most well-known Basque brands are represented here (Aubard, Montauzer, and many more!). The Docks de la Négresse is the ideal place for your food shops and local products.
There are also classic supermarkets available.
By staying at La Conciergerie Biarritz, you will enjoy peace and quiet, while being just a 7-minute drive from the center of Biarritz and Bidart, respectively.
The highway, train station, and airport are all just 4 minutes by car.
The nearest beach is 8 minutes away.
Around twenty private parking spaces are available for your vehicles within the gated property. One of the spaces is equipped with a charging station.
Biarritz and its surroundings
No need to advertise the city of Biarritz here.
But let’s not forget the direct proximity to Anglet, Bayonne, Bidart, Arcangues, and more.
And further south, Guéthary, Saint-Jean-de-Luz, Hendaye.
Inland, you’ll find breathtaking landscapes and charming villages such as Ascain, Espelette, Ainhoa, Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, and more.
You can also cross the Bidassoa River (the border river with Spain) in about twenty minutes and visit Irun, San Sebastián, and even the small fishing villages all the way to Bilbao.
The Pyrenees begin here. Choose your altitude: the 3 Couronnes, La Rhune, Iparla, Orhy, Anie, and many other famous peaks to explore.
